Updated Filofax tabs.

A month or so ago, I posted about using my Motex embosser to label my divider tabs. All good in theory, but not great in practise! I should have used some sort of clear tape to cover the labels I think, because pretty soon they were sliding about and disappearing. You may have noticed in a couple of my ‘My Week‘ posts…

I decided that it was about time I got it sorted. I still had my ‘finance’ tab on show, and the information behind that tab was actually blog-related! To sort it out, I binned my beloved martha stewart sticky tabs (i need to find more!) and made new tabs out of card and washi tape. It was really easy – all I did was cut five tab shapes from the card, wrap them in washi and then glue/tape to the dividers that I already had. Then I just used a black pen to write on the labels. It looks so much neater now!

They’re not quite in line; I thought I’d stuck them on equally spaced, but photo evidence shows differently. Nevertheless, they’re working for me right now!

Organising my Filofax goodies!

I saw a post on a blog (sadly I cannot remember which blog!) and the person had put their stickers into a folder so they were kept together, and easily visible. I decided to do the same! I picked up an A5 Display Book from Rymans. It has 40 ‘pages’ to fill up. I’ve put stickers in each side of the wallets, with an A5 plain paper behind each one. This means the stickers stand out more, and I can also use both sides of each wallet!
Here are a couple of pages!

I also put in a page of my washi tape, so that is easily seen! I don’t have that many though… I really want some nature-y ones!

Whilst in town, I also discovered these sticky notes in The Works! They’re tabbed and lined, and I just think they look really useful! The sizing is a little smaller width of personal inserts, and then a couple of inches smaller in height! The colours of these are really bright – almost neon-like! I really like to little handy booklet, but I think it will be difficult to get to all of the colours without pulling them out.
