About

Katie Louise Halsall. 21 years old. England. 15 facts about me. I like being outside, wildlife, nature… I also like to sit at my laptop and blog or play Sims 3.

I am currently studying Wildlife and Media BA Hons at the University of Cumbria and you can find my photography over here. I am also in an awesome relationship with my boyfriend of four years, and we’re tackling long distance whilst I’m at university.

Having blogged for over three years now, I’ve finally settled into more of a book/stationery/photography blog. I hope you enjoy having a look around!

This is my corner of the internet where I talk about books; am overly enthusiastic about random stationery; occasionally mention fitness (i’m slacking!) and share photos of my cat, Charlie.

You may notice a lot of Filofax related posts – here’s my collection. Using a diary with the option to change inserts/layout/design is what I love about Filofax. Here are my ‘Pros & Cons’. This, as well as my love for stationery, is what pushed me to blog more often.

I couldn’t decide which post or blog to comment, so here seemed best! I am absolutely adoring your blog, and your degree sounds so interesting! I’m going to uni to do geography in september and love it when we do ecosystems cos it’s all about wildlife!
Anyway keep it up, I’m loving your blog!! 🙂

  5. I love stationary and wildlife! I love your pictures of your diary. I was wondering if I could include one of your pictures of a diary in a book I’m working on? It’s a book about writing and writing tools and ti’s to inspire people to write. It will be very visual and a picture of your diary would fit great.
Your name, age and location would be included and all credit would go to you for your words.
All good if you’re not interested. Just thought I’d check.

  6. Hello again,
I’m really sorry but I won’t be able to include that photo in the end. The size wasn’t big enough or something to fit nicely in the book, plus the book is more about journal writing than that style of diary. Even though I love it!
I still want to give you the opportunity to be included so I can include this in the blogging section:

My blog is my corner of the internet where I talk about books; am overly enthusiastic about random stationery; occasionally mention fitness (i’m slacking!) and share photos of my cat, Charlie. My love for stationery and the Filofax is what pushed me to blog more often.

I’m totally cool if you want to decline. Also, I won’t be able to include a link to your blog like I originally wanted to – just because there are 140 people, some are anonymous, some don’t want to be linked to their blog, some I don’t have their blog, so to keep it fair and safe and uncluttered in the book design, I’ll have to keep that info out. I’m considering putting up a page on my blog though with all your blogs instead as way of thanking you all.

Anyway, let me know what you think.
